My 2000 F-150 has a CD player, cassette and a radio. This transmitter allows you to pair your smarth phone and basically upgrade your old radio. It has an SD card and USB slot that allows you to play music through your radio and the sound coming from the speakers is excellent. There is also a USB port to power your phone and the bluetooth connection for your phone is excellent. Definitely, worth the price.
